In the wee hours of the morning of March 16 I got the call from Leah that she thought she was in early labor. Being a birth doula also, I got up and prepared to head to her home. Because she was a fast laboring momma with her previous babies.
This was the first birth I was just the birth photographer and not doula . However I have been to many births as a doula/photographer. It was so hard to just be the photographer .
I arrived close to 3 am. And Leah did not appear to be in active labor . Even when she was silently pushing we could not tell! She was beautiful and amazing! Here baby was born around 5:30 am.
